Yes. A security deposit is required as follows:
- $250 for card rentals
- $500 for cash rentals
The deposit is refundable, pending post-rental inspection.

A new rental agreement is required every 3 weeks for extended rentals.
All rentals are subject to local sales tax, along with any applicable fees, which are disclosed prior to confirmation.
Rentals include unlimited miles.

Normally, L.A. 5 Star – Rentals does not offer delivery services.
However, delivery may be considered with advance notice and approval, subject to the following:
Within a 15-mile radius:
$50 for rentals under one week
Free for rentals of one week or more
Over a 25-mile radius:
Delivery is considered on a case-by-case basis
Pick-ups and returns are available between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Additional mileage is charged at $0.25 per mile.
Each additional driver is $25 and must be listed on the rental agreement.

Any evidence will result in a $200 cleaning fee.
Yes. Renters are responsible for all tolls, toll lanes, parking violations, and tickets incurred during the rental period.
Please notify L.A. 5 Star – Rentals if you plan to use toll lanes.
Toll bills or violations may take 7–60 days to be received. Once issued, invoices must be reviewed and paid promptly.
We provide every vehicle clean and ready for your trip.
Please return the vehicle in similar condition out of respect for the next renter.
Cleaning fees may apply as follows:
Moderate Cleaning – $75
Mud, sand, moderate bug debris, minor odors, small spills
Heavy Cleaning – $125
Moderate stains, heavy odors, extensive bug debris
Severe Cleaning – $150
Steam cleaning or full detailing required
Pet Hair Removal – $150
Multiple Issues Cleaning – $250
Extremely Dirty – $200
Filthy – $300
A minimum $150 cleaning fee will be applied if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.
⚠️ Beach Policy:
If the vehicle is taken to the beach, it must be cleaned prior to return.
Sand and sunscreen residue require detailing and will result in a $250 cleaning fee.
🐶 Pet Policy:
Pets are not allowed. Any evidence of pet hair or odors will result in cleaning fees.
🚭 Smoking Reminder:
No smoking of cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, vapes, or similar products.
Attempts to mask odors will not work—any sign of smoking results in a $200 cleaning fee.
